A field in transition: raw amber and gold press upward through weather-worn ochre, giving way to a dense understory of near-black indigo, scored through with pale, wiry lines that read like winter grass or static caught mid-flicker. Loose, looping calligraphic marks surface and vanish across the upper register — gestures half-written, half-erased, the way memory keeps only fragments of what passed through it. By Texas abstract painter Wanda Oliver.
