An expansive luminous white and cream ground carries an extraordinary density of looping cursive calligraphic marks across its entire surface. The surface reads simultaneously as writing and landscape, inscription and atmosphere, in oil and cold wax. Part of the Soundings series by Texas abstract painter Wanda Oliver.

Framing Notes: The cradled board is wired and ready to hang.  It is designed to accommodate a floating frame, but no frame is necessary.
