A saturated cadmium red dominates the upper two-thirds — dense, atmospheric, and fully worked — as a bold surge of white and pale grey breaks diagonally from upper left toward lower right, crashing into a sky blue lower ground. Purple, magenta, and gold fragments catch in the turbulence between the fields. The surface is scraped and layered throughout, the collision between red and blue mediated by white impasto that neither resolves nor retreats. In oil and cold wax.
